GENERAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES
Eligibility: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the U.S. who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. If you are not a US citizen, under 18, or are ineligible to win a prize due to local, state, federal or national laws, you are more than welcome to participate in the fun but you are not eligible to win. See General Conditions below.
Deadlines: Sweepstakes starts 12:00:01 am EST (UTC/GMT -5) on February 1, 2010 and will conclude on February 28, 2010 at 11:59:59 pm EST (UTC/GMT -5). Grand and Runner Up prize winners will be selected from a random drawing scheduled to be held up to seven (7) days after the deadline.
Winner Selection and Notification:
GENERAL INFORMATION: Each point earned is one chance towards winning daily, weekly, special, and monthly prizes. There is no award for the most points. Daily is defined as from 12:00:01 am to 11:59:59 pm EST (UTC/GMT -5). Weekly is defined from 12:00:01 am EST (UTC/GMT -5) Monday through 11:59:59 pm EST (UTC/GMT -5) Sunday. Monthly is defined as 12:00:01 am EST (UTC/GMT -5) on February 1, 2010 to 11:59:59 pm EST (UTC/GMT -5) on February 28, 2010. The odds of winning are dependent upon participation and the number of eligible entries (points earned) during the period the prize is for. Participant's odds will vary each day, week, and the overall month as point levels will fluctuate for all participants.
DAILY AND WEEKLY DRAWINGS: One winner will be selected at random based on the points earned during the day or week as defined under GENERAL INFORMATION above. Each point earned during that period is one chance towards the random drawing. In the event the person selected is ineligible, another draw will be done until an eligible winner is selected.
SPECIAL DRAWINGS: One winner will be selected at random based on the points earned during the period or rules defined for the special drawing. An email and the site will give details of the drawing. For example, if an award will be made to the participant who earns the one millionth (1,000,000th) point, only that participant who earns that will win. In the event the person selected is ineligible, the special drawing will either go to the next closest qualified draw or it will go unawarded, whichever is most feasible.
GRAND PRIZE AND RUNNER UP PRIZE: Two winners will be selected at random based on points earned during the month as defined under GENERAL INFORMATION above. Each point will count as a chance for the random draw. First participant selected will win the Grand Prize and second participant selected will be awarded the Runner Up Prize.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received and user participation. All drawings will be conducted under the supervision of Noobis, Inc. ("Noobis"). Noobis employees and their immediate families are not eligible to win prizes. The decisions of Noobis are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. If you are selected as the winner of the Sweepstakes, you will be notified through your email account that is registered with HungerHunt.com. At that time you will have 24 hours to respond to the email with the information required. If you do not respond another entry will be selected until the procedure is successfully completed.
General Conditions: This Sweepstakes is void where and to the extent prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable laws, including, without limitation, federal, state, and local laws and regulations. In the event of non-compliance by any winner with the official rules of this Sweepstakes, an alternate winner may be selected. Prizes are non-transferable. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in a disqualification of the winner and an alternate winner may be selected. All prizes will be awarded. Except where legally prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Noobis to use each winner's name, photograph, likeness, voice, address (city and state) and testimonials, in printed, broadcast or other media, whether now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, in any manner it deems appropriate in connection with promoting this or any other Sweepstakes and/or promotion sponsored by it, without further compensation to the winner.
Releases: By participating, entrants agree that Noobis, those involved in the development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of this Sweepstakes and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion (hereinafter collectively called "Promoters"), shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this Sweepstakes, including entry and participation in this Sweepstakes and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes. All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to such entrant's participation in this Sweepstakes, such entrant will indemnify and hold Promoters harmless from and against any and all such claims, including reasonable attorneys' fees related thereto. Promoters shall not be liable for entries that are delayed, lost, misdirected, misdelivered, incorrect or incomplete, and such entries will be not be eligible for this Sweepstakes. Promoters shall not be responsible for any technical malfunctions of any telephone network, computer on-line system, computer equipment or software; program malfunctions or other failures; delayed computer transactions or network connections; any errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic; or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to the computer of any entrant or any other person related to or resulting from any part of this Sweepstakes. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Noobis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond its control corrupt the proper administration or security of the Sweepstakes. Noobis reserves the right to modify the rules of the Sweepstakes in any way or at any time, as long as reasonable notice is given. All taxes on any prize won are the sole responsibility of each winner, including, without limitation, any federal, state, or local taxes which may be deemed applicable in such winner's jurisdiction of residence. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States of America.
